YOUth POWER Job & Career Fair – Alberta Human Services

One of our first contracts early on in our business in 2010, we decided as a team to take on an audio brand for a small, grassroots, humble budget event called YOUth POWER. Given that we are avid supporters of creating equal opportunities for at-risk youth in our community, we knew we had to take this project on as it aligned with our business mission and values. YOUth POWER sought out to do just that, but for jobs and careers, something no event in the market was doing. We saw the long-term potential of YOUth POWER and how we could help them maximize their community impact, so we bit the bullet and sponsored the remaining investment and moved forward.  Since then, seven events later, we have taken over the full event management and helped grow the event from fifty youth, to over three thousand youth, and from ten local exhibitors, to over fifty exhibitors in a wide array of industries and professions including big brands like McDonald’s and Starbucks. The event is 100% free for all attendees, and is still the only event in the market combining the interactive high-energy of live musical performances and keynote speakers, with engaging and experiential job and career information. If you’re just looking for brochures, this is not the event for you.
