Uniquely Me Fashion Show Fundraiser

We had the unique challenge of transforming the vacant, 16th floor office space of the EPCOR Tower, into a 90s inspired runway fashion show. This space was the perfect backdrop to celebrate the Edmonton Down Syndrome Society’s 20th Anniversary as it featured the 360 degree panoramic view of the downtown core and we had over 25,000 square feet of raw, concrete space and open ceilings, to create a truly memorable fashion show experience. The success from our event created the opportunity for PlanIt Sound to fully manage the space for ongoing events working alongside Qualico Commercial. The bonus: full access to one of the coolest venues in town. The Uniquely Me event itself was once again a sold-out capacity crowd of over 450 guests, breaking fundraising records for the organization from $35,000, to over $140,000 the first year in PlanIt Sound taking over event management. We were honoured to produce the Uniquely Me Fashion Show & Fundraiser Gala for three consecutive years (2014-2016).
